1. The 95% failure rate for MLM-Network Marketing is a fraud statistic. Why? Because it is a proven statistic that 70% of the people that join an MLM – Network Marketing company DROP OUT – and that is different from failing. Who has ever sent out a survey asking “Did you fail at MLM- Network Marketing?” No one with any credibility. Just some MLM – Network critics that hate the industry, and their survey’s are very suspect (read that as dreamed up).

2. A good MLM – Network Marketing company gives money back (usually 90%) if business kits and/or products/services initial cost are returned within 90 days (some up to one year). So it is a great way to try a business at low or no risk. If it doesn’t suit somebody, it is a FREE country and they can drop out. If it were a 40 hour JOB, that would get on your record and you could be penalized for the rest of your life.

So if we subtract the 70% voluntary dropouts from the touted lie of “95% MLM – Network Marketing failure rate,” that drops the statistic to 25% failure rate. Hey, that is probably as good as the job failure rate for the general public working 40 hours a week!

WHAT MAKES ME THE MADDEST?
It’s MLM – NETWORK MARKETERS USING THE 95% MLM FAILURE RATE TO:

1. Instill fear in people that are new to recruit them. It is a poor recruiting technique that makes me angry. They lie like this quote:

Don’t fall for this line “very simple. MLM’ers have not learned how to stop CHASING DOWN THEIR TARGET MARKET! For that matter, they don’t even know how to assess who their target market really is!”

2. To sign up a newbie in a FUNDED PROPOSAL… meaning the person doing the recruiting is using the 95% MLM failure rate LIE to sell an e-book or recruiting system to fund their MLM downline building because they won’t pick up a telephone or talk to anyone eyeball to eyeball. They may not be crooks, but they when they say Don’t Fall for this line “I really hope that those that are still making the lists of their friends and family or just generally struggling (in ANY business) will pay attention.”

There is an ABSOLUTE ethical issue with the two cases above. Of course the new FTC rules may wash out some of this by going all the way back to the MLM company.

MLM Attorney, Kevin Thompson went after this company on behalf of the distributors months ago, and instead of gaining support from the advocates and watchdogs of MLM, he was attached for his desire to protect the average eFusjon distributor. In the end the settlement was sealed.

Then eFusjon filed a lawsuit against Derek Broes their former Master Distributor. Instead of taking it laying down, Broes counter sued, and won. And again the settlement was sealed from the public. However, Broes did go on to launch a competing company in the same niche, Revolucion.

Then last week they inform the eFusjon leaders they were going to leave Network Marketing behind for other retail opportunities.

Today, they let the world know with the following announcement. And what I fine so disrespectful, is the fact the email is not even signed by the founders of the company who promised the field the world, and then left them high and dry.

Letter from Ownership to Distributors

Dear eFusjon Distributors:
It is with great sadness that we announce today that we must cease the direct sales multi-level marketing business of eFusjon, Inc. as of September 1, 2010.

The independent contractor distributor agreements will terminate as of this date. See Distributor Agreement, Section 7 (“The Agreement shall continue in effect between the parties here to until either party terminates the Agreement…”). Qualified distributors will receive their last compensation check for the month of August, less offsets against any amounts that are owed to the Company, on September 10th. The goal was to market these products through independent distributors via the MLM direct sales business model.

Distributor performance, however, has been steadily declining for over a year now, and as a result, so has the Company’s revenues. The Company can no longer maintain a marketing model that is not generating the funds needed to grow a viable business. In short, the Company’s MLM business model is no longer a sustainable marketing strategy.

With a certain level of optimism, we also announce today our decision to explore other opportunities for the eFusjon product many of you have come to love. The German District Court in Frankfurt am Main has important parts of the Monavie Marketing Plan forbidden in Germany by its decision of 24.08.2010.

It’s also a decision against two MonaVie distributors in a earlier case. The decision seems to be even so strong that German Monavie distributors could get up to 2 years in prison, if recruitment will go on.

A reason for this temporary injunction according Schulenberg website is a non-compliance on parts in Monavie’s marketing plan for the German law on “Progressive Kundenwerbung” (§ 16 Abs. 2 UWG) which can be translated in english as Pyramid selling.

Congress and the cosmetics industry are both calling for tighter regulation of the chemicals used in cosmetics and other personal care products due to concerns over possible carcinogens and other toxic ingredients.

In Congress, Rep. Jan Schakowsky (D-Ill.) introduced a bill on Tuesday calling for cosmetics makers to register with the federal government and for larger cosmetics firms to pay user fees to enforce the regulation. The Safe Cosmetics Act of 2010 also would require all ingredients in a cosmetic product to be listed on the product’s label and would give the Secretary of Health and Human Services two years to develop a list of prohibited or restricted ingredients.

Cosmetics manufacturers would be required to notify the federal government of consumers who reported experiencing adverse health effects from their cosmetics and to use alternatives to animal testing of products.
